TransformSC Steering Committee Members Chosen for Riley Institute’s Diversity Leaders Class
The Riley Institute announced its selections for its Diversity Leaders Initiative (DLI) 9th Class of Fellows on Feb. 10, 2016. Among the 41 leaders selected from the Midlands were three members of TransformSC’s Steering Committee.
Bernadette Hampton of the South Carolina Education Association, Beth Phibbs of the South Carolina Association of School Administrators and Scott Price of the South Carolina School Boards Association will join more than 1,500 Riley Fellows from across the state to participate in DLI. These fellows work in cross-sector groups to respond to real issues and opportunities in their communities through capstone service projects.
Fellows are selected by nomination and application and reflect South Carolina’s demographics and represent the corporate, nonprofit, education, faith-based and government sectors. A full list of the Riley Fellows 9th Class from the Midlands can be found here.
