TechSC is an initiative of the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness. It was established to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and research within South Carolina’s technology sector in order to position the state as a global hub for innovation.
Under the leadership of Preston Grisham, Director of TECHSC, the initiative serves as the collective force behind South Carolina’s technology ecosystem as it leads collaborative efforts between the industry and business, government, education, and community leaders.

TECHNOLOGY IN SOUTH CAROLINA
South Carolina’s technology industry is thriving. In 2017 alone, the state added more than 2,500 jobs and net employment growth in the technology industry ranked 11th in the nation. As TechSC continues to advance its mission to accelerate South Carolina’s technology ecosystem, the sector is expected to see rapid growth across the state.
