The Role

A typical role for an IT Support Specialist involves installing software on company equipment, setting up computer workspaces for new employees and office spaces, and solving varying technical issues that arise on a day-to-day basis. An IT Support Specialist is critical to the upkeep of the company equipment and keeping an office and/or team up and running. A support specialist may also take on external roles with clients or customers that need help with downloads, troubleshooting, and software account management.
