Council Represents SC at US-EU Cluster Convening in Washington, D.C.

92660c2d-02c2-44b1-a081-2e5cc9b2930bCouncil President & CEO Ann Marie Stieritz represented South Carolina  at the United States-European Union workshop on industry clusters organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce in November.  The workshop brought together cluster policy-makers, experts and policy-oriented researchers from the U.S. and the E.U. to exchange best practices on industry cluster mapping, cluster data portals and cluster-based economic development policies and programs.  Ann Marie served on a panel entitled “Current Programs and Priorities in Cluster Policy” and spoke to the Council’s efforts managing several statewide and regional cluster initiatives.  She was joined on the panel by:

  • Mike Kennealy, Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development
